Pros

The kids are great, the staff were team players and my supervisor was wonderful.

Cons

Severely understaffed, not many opportunities for advancement, long hours, and funding depended on how close you were to headquarters. The further out a center is, the less they seemed to care. Required quarterly meetings at headquarters were out of the way for staff in the fairfield, suisun and dixon centers.

Thank you for your review. It is great to hear you have enjoyed your time with your center’s children, co-workers and management! We too value these aspects of our company and continue to look at new and innovative ways to improve the efficiency of our teachers to meet the needs of our children and families. Overall, we have had some great steps with staffing in many of our regions and hope you will continue to see the benefits and results from those efforts. Our agencies’ career path is ever-evolving and new opportunities arise year over year for our employees. We hope all of our employees take a look at our weekly openings to ensure they are able to consider new roles that might meet their experience and passion and have regular career discussion with their leadership team. As for location of regional meetings, meeting locations are frequently rotated or centralized so all staff can attend. We are working to do more meetings online or in smaller clusters to support people’s ability to attend.

Pros

- for school age before and after school program there is a lot of prep time

Cons

- if a lot of teachers staffed no full-time hours - can be sent to other centers if fully staffed
