Pros

Great basis for quality care with a strong education team to reach out to for support.

Cons

Communication between upper management and center level staff is non-existent. Center level support has dwindled as finances are tight so wages are at a freeze while continuing to raise enrollment fees which staff with children are responsible for 50% and cost of living has increased exponentially.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience working at Catalyst Family. We pride ourselves on the quality of care our staff provide. Our education team is at the core of our programming, and we couldn't be more grateful for all of their amazing work. We're sorry to hear about your experience with communication between upper management and center staff. Over the last few years, we have worked to build resources and channels to best communicate with our center staff. Through newsletters, monthly calls, SharePoint resources and bi-weekly email updates we've been able to better connect our staff with what's happening in the organization. There are always more ways to get the word out, and we are always open to hearing feedback from our staff. In relation to our compensation structure, we will continue to assess and adjust our compensation to best align with local competitive wages as we all continue to recover from the Pandemic.

Pros

- for school age before and after school program there is a lot of prep time

Cons

- if a lot of teachers staffed no full-time hours - can be sent to other centers if fully staffed
