Pros

It should be noted that most who work at Catalyst Kids/Catalyst Family measure their tenure in decades. The mission of compassionately serving the children of California carries directly into the staff and how they are supported. As a nonprofit, it pays above competitive rates and offers opportunities for career advancement. It welcomes flexibility and is Statewide, allowing for movement within the organization throughout the State.

Cons

The downsides are limited but, covering the entire State, it can be difficult to find opportunities to meet with fellow staff members.

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback and for highlighting the strengths of working at Catalyst Kids. We’re thrilled to hear that the mission, flexibility, and opportunities for career advancement have positively impacted your experience. It’s inspiring to know that many of our team members measure their time here in decades, reflecting the supportive and compassionate environment we strive to create. We acknowledge that, given our statewide reach, it can sometimes be challenging to connect with colleagues from other regions. We’re working on creating more opportunities for staff collaboration and networking to strengthen our sense of community across the organization. Thank you for your dedication and contributions. We’re proud to have you as part of our team and look forward to continuing to support your success!
