Pros

Catalyst is a great place for college students who want to build their experience working with children. If students major in Education, Child Development, or any counseling, or social studies. The company offers part-time and full-time positions. It also has a substitute team that allows students to change their schedule every semester or quarter to meet their school schedule. The company offers ongoing online and in-person training. Great support structure for staff to grow and learn.

Cons

Some centers are state-funded under Title 5 and require staff to have Early Child Development units to fulfill the state requirement
