This place sucks to work. - Cashier Cavender's Employee Review

My experience lacked structure from the beginning. I was not provided with a clear schedule or proper training. Although I applied for a sales or cashier position, I was instead assigned to web-related tasks for eight hours a day without adequate instruction. On my second day, I was placed in a small, disorganized closet to pack orders — a task I was never shown how to do. I was also never informed about my pay rate and, to this day, have no idea how much I was supposed to be compensated. While some managers were kind and supportive, others appeared disengaged, often walking around without offering assistance or guidance. Unfortunately, this made for a disorganized and unproductive work environment. One thing I will say all of the employees were very kind.
