Pros
Pay is okay but not on par with other surrounding hospitals, and they short change employees any chance they get. It is an okay place to get by or start a career, otherwise, not much pro to working here. I would say run not walk to a difference place.
Cons
Management is horrible. The CEO's sole purpose is to put on a front and be a face. He never responds to any concerns or criticism of the hospital. He only deals with the financial status. In fact there aren't any people up in the high command that oversee their lower counterparts very well nor deal with any issues. That's probably why there are managers that get away with treating their employees very poorly. This is why there are so many departments with a high turnaround rate. Departments hide anything wrong that has been done with senior employees but will put new employees out to dry. There are no incentives to stay here, no way to advance or learn a new skill. The hospital financial status has gone down considerable since starting here which is also a negative.
