Pros

There’s really not any pros

Cons

I could go on for hours about the cons of working here but I’ll try and keep it short. First you will NOT make as much money as you are told about during the interview and training class unless you know a ton of people who want or need phones. There are resources to try and generate customer leads but they rarely work out in your favor. You will be expected to work crazy hours and to be available for customers basically 24/7 and you’re only paid if they buy something. You will spend a lot of your time in meetings, classes, and conference calls every month that you also don’t get paid for. Taking a vacation day can only happen if you get someone to work your shift for you and with no vacation time you again won’t be paid so you can totally screw up your entire monthly pay by taking a few days off. The company is also always looking for a way to take money out of your pocket for things you have no control over. You will work shifts with people who do absolutely nothing and because of the way the sales shares work will make the same amount of money you did. Don’t fall for the lies. You’ll be told that all you have to do is show up for your shifts and make a minimum of $3500 a month. You are paid $10.88 an hour that comes out of your total monthly sales and what is leftover is your commission. I never missed a shift and picked up extras and on my best month made less than $3000. You will spend the first several months owing the company money the average rep spends 3-6 months trying to pay back the company for the hours you worked. You have to watch every sale and count every dollar you make to ensure you’re getting paid what you deserved. With the shared sales system people will unfairly remove you from their sale so they can keep more of the profit. The company also doesn’t keep the most accurate record of what you are truly owed in a month so be ready to have to prove it to get paid what you’re owed. I worked for the company for over six months and was contacted multiple time by recruiters for the company asking if I was interested in becoming an employee there which speaks volumes about how much the company cares about its employees. Turnover is a laughable matter, there were 25 people who were hired either the same time I was or shortly thereafter and when I left only 5 were still with the company and two out of the 5 were just working out their two week notice. Save yourself a lot of time and hassle and keep searching for a better job.
