Pros

You get to control your schedule well for the most part. Pretty much anyway I've wanted off, I've been able to find a way to get it covered. At times, you really do feel like you're your own boss, and that is such a freeing feeling, but I have to cherish those moments when I can.

Cons

MEETINGS MEETINGS MEETINGS (unpaid btw). Constantly looking over my shoulder to make sure a coworker isn't finding a way to screw me over (commission). Extremely inappropriate work environment. The misogyny and talking about women is worse than a high school football locker room. The bias towards men is so obvious at times, that it's almost comical. Some of the scummiest of people I've ever met sit next to me everyday, that's not a very healthy environment to be in 8 hours a day.
