Pros

Companies you are working with are S&P500 global companies - many embarking on interesting programmes looking for tech to support.

Cons

I've seen the poorest working culture of my software vendor career at Celonis. Unbelievable arrogance both to employees and customers. Fake it until you make it culture, slog your guts out place. Very inexperienced middle management (early Celonauts) , who have been given VP / Director titles and it shows. Product roadmap is all over the place, no stability. External hype and internal reality are diverging at such a pace, likely to feed top of range IPO valuation / funding rounds. 10 year old company still behaving like a 2 year old company and it shows. Avoid.

Pros

Unlimited PTO and smart people, who unfortunately are leaving.

Cons

Sales and technical teams are not always set up to succeed together, which creates unnecessary pressure on technical teams and contributes to burnout. There is a strong focus on growth, but employee retention does not receive the same attention. Compensation is not always competitive, and career advancement processes can feel inconsistent depending on the opportunities available to you. All approvals run up to founder level.
