- It doesn't seem like they have any training or pre-requisites for middle-management except having worked at the company for several years. Not everyone can be a good manager and as they said, people leave managers not companies. This leads to a toxic environment and managers with 0 emotional intelligence.
- At times the 'rocket ship' almost feels like a cult. Don't know how often you hear about how awesome the company is and how great everything is going without learning more about the actual data and how the product is performing. This is a SALES company, not a tech company.
- Talking about data, the product is not data driven at all, decisions are made based on what leadership decides and everyone just seems to follow blindly, data is not available about the performance of the product and if you ask, they will just tell you that doesn't matter.
- If you have experience outside the company, they won't let you apply any of your skills. You should just do as they say and create a bunch of slides every time you want to share something. As Steve Jobs used to say: "People who know what they're talking about don't need PowerPoint"
- No work-life balance.
