      Likely the best Tech Company to work in Spain - Senior VP of Engineering Celonis Employee Review

      Pros

      - Abundance of challenges, which provide opportunity to grow. - Really nice and supportive culture. The atmosphere in the Madrid Hub is extraordinary. - Small enough that every individual can see their personal impact in creating a great product and company - A strong People & Culture team that invests heavily on the learning and growth of all individuals. I particularly like the importance given to growing great leaders. - Sustainability efforts. Via the Impact Days and other regular activities, helping the planet become more sustainable is at the forefront of the decisions, big and small. - Ability to work with really talented (and also nice) people. - Very International environment (around 50% from outside Spain in the Madrid Hub), which makes English the default language in many conversations (a great opportunity to practice).

      Cons

      As a high growth company, the pace is fast (even if the work-life balance is good) and change is the norm. This is actually the reason for many of the benefits I listed, but Celonis might not be the company for those looking for a relaxed job with not a lot of work to do. Also, a reasonably good English level is a must for many positions.

      Interns are treated well, given lots of training and projects. The amenities are fantastic

      Pros

      Unlimited PTO and smart people, who unfortunately are leaving.

      Cons

      Sales and technical teams are not always set up to succeed together, which creates unnecessary pressure on technical teams and contributes to burnout. There is a strong focus on growth, but employee retention does not receive the same attention. Compensation is not always competitive, and career advancement processes can feel inconsistent depending on the opportunities available to you. All approvals run up to founder level.
