Pros

Every day at Cemen Tech, it’s clear how proud everyone is of the work they do. Building a large volumetric concrete mixer all in one factory is an amazing feat, and the dedication that goes into it is evident. On top of that, Cemen Tech offers fantastic benefits, paid time off, and a variety of other great perks for employees.

Cons

The only things I would change about working for Cemen Tech is the work from home policy.

Pros

Employee owned, free health insurance.

Cons

Upper management (the CEO and VP in particular) are more concerned with the appearance of prosperity and productivity than taking care of the people who make the product and keep the compay running. The culture can only survive so many layoffs, so many instances of being talked down to, and so many lies. The CEO will hammer on the company's core values of "Accountability" and "Doing the right thing," and then take absolutely no accountability for his actions. All of his business decisions are extremely reactive. If you have ideas that do not align with his personal politics and worldview, you will get absoutely nowhere. He pushes out voices that do not agree with him, and surrounds himself with yes men. Cemen Tech has an absolutely archaic PTO policy, low pay (especially for welders and other production staff) and absolutely no accomodations for WFH for office staff. The CEO creates a culture of micromanagement that will eventually trickle down to you, no matter your position. There is an extremely low (and shrinking) population of women and BIPOC employees, for good reason. The CEO and VP are aware of multiple instances of Cemen Tech staff using racially charged language and have outright refused to address it. Cemen Tech is rapidly losing dynamic, smart, hardworking people because of the poor culture that is being fostered from the top down.
