Pros
I have the highest regard for CEO Michael Neidorff. He is a man of integrity and commitment to making the world a better place. His vision for providing proactive health care services to people in need has driven the company.
Cons
The company has grown too fast too quickly. In certain parts of the company (specifically the parts I experienced), the company is full of opportunists who spend far less time fixing problems than blaming others. The good managers who are looking to fix problems get pushed out, and the opportunists get promoted. As one employee told private my group, "I've got this thing all worked so that if it succeeds, I get all the credit, and if it fails, you guys get all the blame." For the person (like most of my team) who does a good job, the environment is chaotic. We wear ourselves out trying to fight the latest fire, then come up with plans to make sure that the emergency never happens again, and a number of months later find that the same happened again because some manager disregarded all fail-safes and processes. Not all parts of the company are like this, but I still tell all of my friends to stay away from this company. There's a reason the company has a high burnout rate.
