Pros
Recent mergers and acquisition brought with it, new knowledgeable leadership into the upper echelons, which resulted in new training programs and resources being introduced. Before the most recent M&A, nobody cared about (1)training employees or (2)diversity and inclusion or (3)listening to their employees.
Cons
# Unless you work at the headquarters or you know how to brown nose your way to the top, you are guaranteed to be stuck at the same role. # HR process is a joke. The recruiters take their own time to process applications. Since the C-suite is not in favor of "work from home", your job application is ignored if you cannot relocation to the job location. Also, be prepared to negotiate your salary, the recruiters(hiring managers!! ) are known for lowballing your salary offer. # Hypocrisy run rampant . C-suite tells you one thing at the townhalls, but does something else later. Leadership does not always have an open door policy, again, unless, you work for one of the newly acquired units. Turnover is high. # Organic innovation is stagnant, the only way for them to grow is mergers or acquisitions.
