Pros
Generous PTO, remote work, volunteer outreach, employee internal groups that made great things happen. Company investment in employees (certs, tuition, etc).
Cons
There has been multiple layoffs since 2021. The company is constantly restructuring teams and some of those choices did not make sense or help balance out the needs of various in demand roles. I mostly enjoyed my time there and will miss the work I did, but I did not enjoy being asked to do a lot with very little resources and without consideration of the impact of not being able to have expressed boundaries. The company culture has changed as a result too. What used to feel like a huge collaborative environment feels hostile and people are on edge. I used to be able to get work done but I started having constant meetings and meetings ABOUT meetings. I would then have to spend time outside of normal work hours to get work done. I would caution curious applicants or people considering offers to really interview the folks you are interviewing with so you can set yourself up for success and have realistic expectations going in.
