Since Kindred was bought out by Humana they have gone down hill drastically. I have been with this company for over 6 years and it has progressively gotten worse and worse. It started out like one big family and now all we are are numbers to this company. Productivity expectations keep going up and management skills keep going down. I love what I do as a PT and this experience with this company has completely burned me out on a profession that I once loved. Emails to management are ignored. Threats to withdraw guaranteed salaries made when one is too full to help other cohorts.There have been 3 different directors in the last 3 years and each switch we have had has gotten us in more of a cluster of a situation. It is like the blind leading the blind in the office. It is now a toxic wasted dump of a place to work. I have never been a job hopper but this branch makes me want to jump ship as soon as I find a dingy to jump on....or at least test my swimming skills and swim to shore myself. I dont think it can get much worse.

Pay and benefits were great

Cons

The company as a whole, the constant restructuring in dramatic proportions, the changing of the senior leadership people, the shifting to different technologies that costs multiple billions of dollars to shift, the politics, the acquisitions when they don't have it all together. culture applies to favorites. there are amazing and great people on the team and then there are terrible human beings.
