      Pros

      Benefit is not bad with multiple health insurance options.

      Cons

      The company is incredibly top-heavy—mostly directors, VPs, and senior managers with very few staff. Because of this, there is virtually no room for promotions. Combine that with regular quarterly layoffs, and there is absolutely zero job security.

      Layoffs pretty much every quarter. Most of the good folks have left. The parent company makes decisions that directly impact associates at Cepheid
