Pros
Pay was decent for the area and they were flexible when I asked to be remote. Work-life balance was fine, some people would work late but didn't necessarily expect you to respond to their 10pm emails right away. Coworkers were friendly and collaborative.
Cons
Management was not supportive of development goals and the company went through two rounds of layoffs in less than a year. They laid off a ton of good people during the second round, some who had been at the company for 10+ years, people who won awards, and folks who were basically carrying their teams. I was a part of the second layoff and I have nothing against the company (would be happy to come back in a different team if at all), just disappointed at my direct management.
