Good but room for improvement - Senior Associate Cerity Partners Employee Review

Nothing comes to my mind.

Cannot think of a single pro since our firm was acquired in late 2024.

Pay is way below industry standard. Every day was so stressful and so busy. It felt like our team was constantly in the weeds. Most of my time there, we had a very solid team and it still always felt like this. They may say “hybrid” and “flex schedule” but it is the farthest thing from that. You get two work from home days a week and if you need to switch in office and work from home days it is a huge ordeal and has to get approved by multiple people. If you have a doctors appt. That goes over your 1 hour break plan to make that time up in office (as a full time working mom this does not work for me!) Most of the advisors are never in office, yet you’re expected to be there 3-4 days a week from 8-5pm. Since leaving this firm and going to another firm, I have realized that the advisors in this office do not really work and really do not seem to want to. The work load at my current firm is not nearly as much and it is way less stressful. I am making significantly more money and have much more flexibility.
