Pros

Extremely flexible with hours. Benefits are solid. People in Student Services are very helpful and keep you in the loop with whats going on with your student financially.

Cons

Absolutely toxic work environment. Management is never happy with employees performance. Micro manage everything about the position (literally everything) how many phone calls one makes, how long those calls are, the "quality" of those calls. They give you a script and tell you "make it your own" but you get critiqued and negatively scored if you don't follow the script. Confusing is an understatement. Students consistently come up with the same objections & management gives you the same "advice" that doesn't work or often gets students completely triggered in which case they hang up. As if that wasn't rough enough, the people who request transcripts are asleep at the wheel 90% of the time so you have to consistently check up on others to make sure others are doing their job.

Pros

I've spent many years at Chamberlain, and one of the main reasons is the opportunity for growth. If you're looking for a career rather than just a job, there are clear advancement opportunities at both the enrollment representative and leadership levels. The culture is performance-driven but also coaching-focused, with strong investment in training and development. Chamberlain has strong brand recognition, which makes conversations with prospective students meaningful and rewarding.

Cons

The pace can be demanding during peak enrollment periods, and success requires adaptability as priorities and processes evolve.

Pros

There are lots of good people working in the campuses and working to help students succeed is very fulfilling.

Cons

The home office (Covista) IT takes forever and a day to do anything. There seems to be a focus on reducing costs to the point that the experience feels cheap.
