Pros

Very team-oriented approach to the laboratory work, where you can get help when you need it. You then, are expected to offer your services. Teaches you time management.

Cons

If you are a senior member of the company, with a good salary, be aware you eventually will be targeted for being laid off. The company somehow determines the revenue each site should bring in each quarter. This number is routinely unattainable, and when it is inevitably not reached, high paid employees will be eliminated. The remaining staff then has to absorb the extra work, thus lowering morale ever more. An endless cycle. Management in MA are aware of this problem, but simply put, don't care.

Pros

The people you work with under the leadership level are great and truly try their best every day to do the best job they possibly can.

Cons

Everyone is severely underpaid for the amount of work they’re expected to do. People will quit/be fired/laid off and no additional help is provided. Those who remain are expected to pick up all of the slack. Leadership is variable on the day-to-day but you never truly feel supported or like your problems are taken seriously enough to resolve. Individuals are actively urged not to present counter job offers as a way to negotiate higher pay or a different position because “the site head doesn’t like it”.
