Pros

Healthcare is great. HSA with $1800 deposited in January with quarterly match. 5% 401k match Licensing and growth opportunity. If you’re willing to learn they’re willing to let you test Great brand name Overtime opportunities. Competitive pay, bonus, etc,

Cons

Right now the amount of employees are drowning in call volume. Back to back phone calls all day. Even if you’re promoted to a specialty phone line you still get stuff into High Net worth. Essentially all day instead of doing your job you have people with millions yelling at you, and you have to bend over and take it. As long as the rich people are happy, leadership doesn’t care about you doing the job you strived for. 2023 proved to be the year that brokerage firms will do anything to kiss up to the rich clients, at the expense of their employees. 8 hours of back to back to back phone calls. You get 2 15 minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch. If you break those rules, or if they force you to take a 10 am lunch, you’re in trouble. They value rich clients over employees. Also if someone is in the central or eastern time zone, don’t force them to work till 7pm.

Pros

There are a few great managers here, but they are few and far between. Good amount of sick pay.

Cons

Underpaid for the role. Just another cog in the machine to get tasks done. If you don’t have seniority, but are being mistreated by individuals who are more senior, be ready to shoulder the blame for errors even if you are new. The lack of training is astounding, especially for some departments that are expanding. Lots of koolaid drinking. If you care about being kind and authentic, be careful which team you land with. Take your time during the interview process.
