GMs and EDs do not care about your day to day experience, they just want results despite not having the tools or processes to do work efficiently. Managers are not incentivized to care about you personally so they don’t. Workplace accommodations are difficult and there is a retaliatory culture if someone doesn’t like what you did, they will take away your support or change your role.
