Pros

Working from home You day is decently flexible Very flexible in using time off Good pay and, based on job performance, you can get raises They encourage you to move up Opportunities for advancement Good benefits like insurance and retirement Upper management is nice and helpful This job has been great to me in many ways. In this role, you help clients close or refinance and purchase loans. You work with internal partners like underwriting for example to help move loans to closing and act as the middle partner between internal partners and the client.

Cons

Your job performance weighs heavily on customer surveys and if you receive less than a 9 on a scale of 1-10, you receive a failing mark. I don't believe this is a fair assessment of an employee. The job has become more micromanaged from upper management as business has slowed down in the mortgage industry. Working with clients can be stressful as buying a home can be a challenging experience. Waiting on internal partners can slow the process down and cause frustration for you and the client. Working from home can create a lag in receiving communication so if you run into problems it may take extra some time to receive answers.

Pros

-location & team are important. I had an amazing team and location. Rare, but amazing for making money when aligned. -you can learn the financial industry -reputable company, great CEO -you are highly compensated to win over affluent families banking/wealth/lending relationships.

Cons

-we have 5 managers and each of them get replaced bi-annually. -The management hired does not know anything about finance, yet tasked to manage financial professionals. Zero standards for recruitment. Imagine this: An accounting firm is looking for a new accountant. The manager goes out and hires 5 "accountants" but not a single one of them is a CPA. You think, "how could this happen?" That's JPMC for you. -HIGH PRESSURE SALES TACTICS.***
