Pros

You gain exposure to working with USAID. You also understand the complexity of bidding and winning/losing contracts with the US government.

Cons

Due to the incredibly high turnover rate they constantly promote under qualified staff to managerial levels who are simply not ready to take on such responsibility. There are a lot of cliques and the employees are too ideological for their own good. They pour on work that they promise you is to help other people abroad, but in reality you are ruining your own life in order to set up projects that have very minimal impact in the third world. I was surrounded by 24-26 year old "managers" who lacked serious maturity. The senior level management were abroad so often that they weren't around to spend enough time to see what was going on. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

Pros

Truly a great company to work for, they care so much about work/life balance. Everyone is kind and they are like family.

Cons

It can be hard working from home because you never see your coworkers and sometimes you lose that momentum.

Pros

Clear company structure, processes, and tools. Professional development funds available. Easy-to-use and high-quality benefits. Pay is fair for the work.

Cons

"Company is family" mentality, sanitized rather than straightforward communications from executives, poor training, unclear standards of success, vague professional growth guidance and no clear paths towards becoming the ideal professional at this company.
