Pros
There is a lot very good advertisement from management on thinking out of the box, streamlining and implementing new ideas.
Cons
The reality is that the company will continue to cut jobs and benefits and has taken it to the point where they will not attract young talented people and if they haven't laid them off already will start loosing the seasoned professionals to other companies. As much as the talk around town is having fresh ideas and getting things done more efficient the reality is that it isn't going to happen unless you change the culture as from walking in the shoes of someone that is not DuPont heritage is very difficult to break through and get people to actually listen to new ideas or to different ways of doing things. It is a very frustrating environment and most people don't even realize that this dynamic is happening.
