Pros

Working at JenCare Senior Medical Center has helped me become a better person in the last 6 years. How they do this is by empowering their staff to help their patients daily. We do this by giving a hug to someone when they get bad news at an appt to being there when their great grandchild is born. We get to be a part of their lives. Just not another front desk person or another nurse. We become FAMILY. Jencare also gives us the chance to fix problems on our owns for patients. They let us bring the solutions to the managers for the patients, not the other way around. Doing this builds trust within the company and shows that management trust their staff to fix problems. With the help of JenCare and ChenMed I have grown into someone that is can now put herself in someone's else shoes and try to feel what they are dealing with. Thank you for helping me grow. #lovewhatyoudo Kathleen L. East Richmond Office

Pros

The pay is competitive, however the workload is very heavy. The company does put emphasis on a positive culture, but the teams are in constant fear of lay off, or being let go due to unrealistic productivity expectations

Cons

Bonuses are cancelled, changes are too often, everything is always a priority. The productivity expectations are unrealistic. The other thing is favoritism and nepotism, you will never advance if you are not friendly with certain people. It is very evident that the focus is not on talent when promotions are available.
