Pros

Opportunity to help patients that otherwise would have been lost

Cons

Questions: - who attends meetings having read no emails or preparatory materials beforehand, yet manages to show up with frustration and ill will layered atop subject matter obliviousness? - who hires cronies and promotes leaders with the similar mindset of no accountability, no execution/follow through, in addition to broad unresponsiveness? - what functional area is overbloated with staff yet still cannot manage to have accurate financial data or an effective plan process, that still searches for relevance via adversarial relationships with other functional areas? - whose obstructionist mindset has directly caused massive staffing shortfalls that are putting ChenMed in existential risk?

Pros

The pay is competitive, however the workload is very heavy. The company does put emphasis on a positive culture, but the teams are in constant fear of lay off, or being let go due to unrealistic productivity expectations

Cons

Bonuses are cancelled, changes are too often, everything is always a priority. The productivity expectations are unrealistic. The other thing is favoritism and nepotism, you will never advance if you are not friendly with certain people. It is very evident that the focus is not on talent when promotions are available.
