Training stinks, but overall not too bad to work for... - MA/Licensed Practical Nurse ChenMed Employee Review

Pros

Fair benefits, great hours, pretty friendly staff.

Cons

No real training to speak of, because the "trainers" are always too busy to train. You just have to figure things out by trial and error. This is difficult when you are also learning the multitude of doctors and their preferences, as well. Also, company is too concerned with amount of time spent with each patient for both the doctors and the staff. It makes it tough to complete the tasks required for many of them.

Pros

The pay is competitive, however the workload is very heavy. The company does put emphasis on a positive culture, but the teams are in constant fear of lay off, or being let go due to unrealistic productivity expectations

Cons

Bonuses are cancelled, changes are too often, everything is always a priority. The productivity expectations are unrealistic. The other thing is favoritism and nepotism, you will never advance if you are not friendly with certain people. It is very evident that the focus is not on talent when promotions are available.
