Pros

-Clear production goals and measurable performance metrics -Opportunity to build speed and consistency in output -Some supportive coworkers and team leads who advocate for employees -Work can be engaging for those who enjoy hands-on, repetitive artistic tasks -Company mission (helping pet owners) can feel meaningful

Cons

-Inconsistent enforcement of policies across shifts, leading to frustration and confusion -Communication gaps between management and staff, especially when addressing concerns -Employee feedback often feels delayed or unresolved unless escalated -Workplace culture can become divided between shifts, affecting team cohesion -Behavioral expectations are not always clearly defined or consistently applied through toxic favoritism -High focus on metrics can sometimes overshadow employee well-being and communication quality -Not mental health friendly for sufferers of said conditions -Overly complicated processes for doctor requested absences, time off for beginners with no buffer period, and getting a hold of a manager, shift lead, or HR due to the lack of computers and the fact you have no idea where they float off to -We do not have the access of Slack communications without a computer since they do not work on our phones for basic WOW artist team members

Pros

I am an artist and I get to do an art-related job. The schedule is flexible when things pop up. I get health insurance and 401k and a lot of free food, and there is free gym access in the office building. The people I work with are all generally very cool, friendly, and/or fun to work with.

Cons

The pay rate is below the industry standard for production artists. I am not able to afford a place of my own. I live with my parents and I work another job to supplement my income. I am basically surviving and able to pay all my bills, but I would not be able to live a full life on my own with the pay rate as it is now. The work culture portrays itself as progressive and inclusive place but it is the typical corporate toxic environment.
