Pros
- Happy hours bi weekly. - You're allowed to bring your dog in if you're ever promoted from being a CSR. - Decent pay at first. - Bagels & coffee on Mondays - Discount if you have a pet. - Overtime if you'd like to pick up shifts. - You meet a handful of good people here. Emphasis on a handful.
Cons
This job has a toxic environment. Honestly, just run the other way. If you're unemployed and offered this job, my advice is to just go in and do you're job until you can find a new one. Don't partake in any of the gossiping that happens. In order to move up, you must be one of the favorites. You have to go out with management and grab drinks with them, join their inner circle to get promoted. No matter how hard you work, it won't happen until you do so. Management is terrible and never on the same page. I was actually asked to post a good review in order to receive Kudos. (It's a point system they use to in order to redeem prizes in house). If you work there and read some of the reviews, you can already guess who wrote them. It's so obvious. Do not believe them. The gossiping I was referring to earlier, management joins in as well. The housekeeping is terrible. I used to get sick every other week while working here. They called it "Chewbola". The three week training does not prepare you at all for all of the what you're about to deal with on the floor. It is micromanaged to the EXTREME. The Leads walk around yelling at you while you're on a call with customers to pick up a chat or an email. They do the same on Skype as well. We used that as a large group chat within the office. You need to ask for permission to go to the bathroom or let them know when you are going to the bathroom. We were constantly harassed and spoken to as if we were children. The turnover here is crazy too. Everyone is replaceable here. Everyone. They won't let you forget it. All in all, this is a very hostile and juvenile environment. I'm telling you, don't take this job unless you NEED money. Even then, start looking for a new job ASAP. Value yourself more than this job. It's not worth your sanity.
