Pros

Plenty of great colleagues who are motivated individuals and want to grow the business. Unlimited Time Off is an amazing benefit. Friendly office, lots of pets!

Cons

CEO is incredibly involved in day to day decisions that should be managed by his C-suite. Under his tenure, men have been promoted and hired into senior leadership and women have been passed over and departed. Organizationally its unclear who is really responsible for what until...you are held suddenly tasked (surprise) for delivering on something. Stakeholders aren't accountable so everything you build is an individual effort and there is no accountability for bad behavior that spins people round and round. So many *priorities* but they are really just fire drills and very few are impactful. Communication is through Directors/VPs so if you aren't at that level you won't have any idea what is going on...at all. Qualified people don't get promoted. There has been so much attrition that its unbelievably unorganized. As a junior person you can learn a lot .... about how you shouldn't run a company!

Pros

I am an artist and I get to do an art-related job. The schedule is flexible when things pop up. I get health insurance and 401k and a lot of free food, and there is free gym access in the office building. The people I work with are all generally very cool, friendly, and/or fun to work with.

Cons

The pay rate is below the industry standard for production artists. I am not able to afford a place of my own. I live with my parents and I work another job to supplement my income. I am basically surviving and able to pay all my bills, but I would not be able to live a full life on my own with the pay rate as it is now. The work culture portrays itself as progressive and inclusive place but it is the typical corporate toxic environment.
