Pros

Snacks in the office, can bring pups into work, fast-paced company with so much potential, great pay, customers love Chewy, customer service department

Cons

Leadership is WAY too involved in the day-to-day, and has to review practically everything before things go live. Have to defend every single thing you do, be ready to present everything to VP's. Company spends so much time challenging everything, zero trust in their employees, although company says they only hire the best. Everything is urgent, without any regard for timelines or capacity teams have. When managers speak to promotions that were given, working over-hours and always being available (even on the weekends) is almost always a reason for why. Even if you're hitting/exceeding sales goals, it will never be enough and there will constantly be eyes & questions on your work. No CMO, which results in the CEO acting as one and deciding whether he likes certain campaigns/creative or not.

Pros

I am an artist and I get to do an art-related job. The schedule is flexible when things pop up. I get health insurance and 401k and a lot of free food, and there is free gym access in the office building. The people I work with are all generally very cool, friendly, and/or fun to work with.

Cons

The pay rate is below the industry standard for production artists. I am not able to afford a place of my own. I live with my parents and I work another job to supplement my income. I am basically surviving and able to pay all my bills, but I would not be able to live a full life on my own with the pay rate as it is now. The work culture portrays itself as progressive and inclusive place but it is the typical corporate toxic environment.
