Pros

Pets in the office, Free coffee, free snacks, smart and nice employees

Cons

While pets are great, the office isn't kept clean so it smells like dog and there's a lot of dander constantly. Health benefits and 401k is less than ideal. No care for employees, especially if you're an hourly employee. Constantly being asked to shift priorities on a daily basis and then yelled at when you do not meet the unreasonable new deadline. Growth is only available to a few unicorns that management loves and isn't consistent. Promotions and special call outs only are for the unicorns or for those that work 12 hour days, including weekends. Work/life balance isn't expected - it's "work life integration" where working on Saturday morning is encouraged. Micro-management from top leadership down, with 0 trust on employees. The culture is lacking, and instead of taking ownership, employees were told "they create their own culture" but then are turned down to do anything to create engagement across the team. Constant degrading emails sent from leadership. You'll cry at least once a week.

Pros

I am an artist and I get to do an art-related job. The schedule is flexible when things pop up. I get health insurance and 401k and a lot of free food, and there is free gym access in the office building. The people I work with are all generally very cool, friendly, and/or fun to work with.

Cons

The pay rate is below the industry standard for production artists. I am not able to afford a place of my own. I live with my parents and I work another job to supplement my income. I am basically surviving and able to pay all my bills, but I would not be able to live a full life on my own with the pay rate as it is now. The work culture portrays itself as progressive and inclusive place but it is the typical corporate toxic environment.
