Pros

A great starting job for some experience

Cons

Not much room for growth outside of speciality teams, and a Team manager position. Most Operations managers are outside hires. Chewy employees rarely if ever reach that level. The few that do are very subpar. Most team managers are lack luster at best. They do not care and most agents are shuffled around quite often so why would they. The company has started firing people due to its terrible business practices and after showing up half a billion dollar short on their expected revenue. This company was a great company and most of the Team managers you'll meet will privately admit to the lack luster effect that chewy once had, but they still believe in it. I have plenty of team manager get in and out of trouble due to attendance where any agent would be fired. Its sad very sad. Management has yet to have been held accountable, and shift the blame to the agents that they have. I have even had team managers admit to sleeping while on the job. Leaving work early and clocking out remotely so they can do other activities.

Pros

I am an artist and I get to do an art-related job. The schedule is flexible when things pop up. I get health insurance and 401k and a lot of free food, and there is free gym access in the office building. The people I work with are all generally very cool, friendly, and/or fun to work with.

Cons

The pay rate is below the industry standard for production artists. I am not able to afford a place of my own. I live with my parents and I work another job to supplement my income. I am basically surviving and able to pay all my bills, but I would not be able to live a full life on my own with the pay rate as it is now. The work culture portrays itself as progressive and inclusive place but it is the typical corporate toxic environment.
