Pros
The only pro's are that you are making more money then when you did not have a job and when you have a spare minute you might be able to enjoy a meal that you made entirely yourself. Also you can become a manager in like three months because everyone quits and they need to keep moving people up to open another store.
Cons
No one has respect for your off duty time, you will always get off much later then scheduled or called in on your day off. All managers are catty and neglectful. They are not prepared or ready to managed anything much less a store. They will passive aggressively talk down to you, constantly watch over you (micromanaging is all you will find here) all while going and sitting in the office and complaining about how much more they have to do than you. You will barely ever have a break and will always feel guilty about going and getting so much as a water because if you are not doing something LITERALLY every second they will either fire you or yell at you. You can grow here but only if you give in to the bullyboy culture you are surrounded by. If you can manage to find yourself a clique or just a tight knit group of people who will literally just live at the store you will be very successful. You will be promoted if you stay (because the smart ones get out while they still can) even for about 3 months, which leads to terrible managers. apprentices, general managers etc. Borderline sweatshop conditions and borderline slave labor pay. If you are going to be a part of a opening store you are going to hate every second from the day you open. The store will only consist of a few new managers who know nothing about how to actually MANAGE a store and a ton of people who have no idea how to be chipotle robots yet and manage the chaos. This in turn will lead to boatloads of people quitting because of the horrifying conditions you have to work under. Working at Chipotle has been utterly terrible to say the least. When I first applied I had no idea that this is what it was going to be like.
