Pros

most of the staff was very friendly.

Cons

i worked there for a year and a half due to the company i worked for for 23 years was bought by choice. their expectations of a persons work ability is impossible for one person to do. they expect a person to do the work of more than one person can do. i would tell anyone i know to never work for these people.

I am very sorry you did not have a good experience following the acquisition of your prior company. We work very hard to be sure in our acquisitions that employees in the acquired company have an opportunity to keep employment. Our leadership spends a great deal of time, money, and effort to help people make the transition and prevent lost jobs through the consolidation. Sometimes those transitions are difficult for employees that are not accustomed to the processes of the new company or the new position they are placed in after the agencies merge. I see that you were in an orders management position. Currently the Tyler office no longer utilizes that position. The billing department requested that position not be filled as they found that it was adding steps to their audit/communication process and increasing their workload. They requested that their department manage orders through audit. They have been very pleased in change and when we have discussed adding an employee back in they have requested we not do so at this time. Our goal in 2017 is for orders management to be completely automated and integrated into the EMR...meaning that orders will move automatically from the electronic medical record to fax to MD and back to the medical record. We are very excited about the program for our nurses, administrators, and billing departments as it will essentially eliminate any labor with the process.

Pros

Culture is a big plus. Lots of company-hosted events to build a team mentality. Knowledgeable leadership team that advocates for the success of all employees. Lots of tools and resources available to sales team. 401k match is nice.

Cons

Insurance is a little pricey, but that's probably everywhere.

Pros

I've worked at Choice Health at Home for some time now, and the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. What truly sets this company apart is its people-first culture and deep commitment to growing talent from within. From day one, I felt supported—not just as an employee, but as a person. Leadership is approachable and genuinely cares about both patient outcomes and employee well-being. There's a clear focus on mentorship, professional development, and giving team members the tools and opportunities to succeed and move up. I've personally seen colleagues move into leadership roles after being encouraged and equipped to grow, and that’s incredibly motivating. It's not just talk—Choice Health at Home lives its values when it comes to promoting from within and investing in long-term careers. The culture is collaborative, respectful, and mission-driven. You’re surrounded by people who want to make a difference—and who help each other succeed. If you're looking for a place where your work is valued, your goals are supported, and your growth matters, this is it.

Cons

Because the company is growing quickly and actively promotes from within, there can be a lot of change—new roles, new leaders, evolving processes. It’s exciting, but it can be a bit fast-paced if you’re not used to a dynamic environment. That said, leadership does a good job of communicating changes and offering support through transitions.
