Additionally that location spends 10% more on patient care that the national average. This is also a publicly reported data point at Medicare.gov. Across our businesses in multiple states we strive to see patients from a diversity of payors and provide a higher level of care despite cost.
We want all opportunities to improve. The Hill Country region is very important to Choice and any incident of delayed care is a priority. We know in the Travis county specifically that therapy companies are struggling during the pandemic to fulfill their staffing obligations to all agencies (not just Choice). As that is the case we are moving to hire multiple in-house providers in those disciplines.
