Pros
Constantly hiring; simple application process; lateral training always available; can earn tips by hosting parties; laid back atmosphere.
Cons
This job attracts lots of teenagers and/or people who either need a temporary job (which means they're actively looking for a better opportunity) or those looking to avoid a job that requires a clean drug test as part of the hiring process. This means that most of the staff are either unreliable, immature, or do not have family to support. So if you are a hard worker, you will end up carrying extra weight with no extra benefits including promotions when they become available. The company prefers to not promote within. There is an EXTREMELY high turnover, and this is primarily due to several factors, one being little incentive to remain loyal to the company. I would not choose this as a career because as a manager you will constantly be training and dealing with new people, most of whom will not stay much longer than a year. All that training is a waste of time and resources, which is a drain on the company as a whole...not to mention morale.
