Pros
I enjoy working at Chuck E. Cheese because it is an energetic, lively and fun atmosphere making it an enjoyable place to work. Chuck E. Cheese also provides very flexible work hours that can benefit students and part-time workers. The company highlights how important teamwork is which can end up building strong relationships for employees as well as developing collaboration and communication skills. Employees and Managers also receive discounts on food which is a perk. I also think that there are many different titles or roles at Chuck E. Cheese from party hosts to kitchen staff and even management making it a variety of different titles that you can work for.
Cons
There are many pros about working for Chuck E. Cheese but there can also be some cons. Chuck E. Cheese is a high stress environment sometimes. The atmosphere tends to be loud and chaotic due to big groups of people coming in for group events and parties which can be overwhelming for some employees since children are playing games and at the prize counter constantly. Another con about Chuck E. Cheese is low starting wages. Entry-level positions tend to have relatively low starting pay compared to the nature of the job. The last con I am listing is how the break system works and how there can be inconsistent hours. Employees tend to have a hard time taking breaks because there is no other employee helping in their area due to being over labor and the store not having any hours to give.
