Pros

Pay and benefits are comparable to other organizations of this size. CCHMC is great resume food and definitely helps in getting attention from outside HR departments.

Cons

There is way too much management that is wasting money and adding layers of complexity that are unnecessary. Management favoritism is apparent in certain groups and keeps people that deserve opportunity from advancing while promoting incompetence. Further, changes in HR policy is causing watering down of incoming talent and encouraging seasoned professionals to move on to other institutions. Cost cutting measures at the hospital are also cutting into company moral.
