Pros
- Majority of coworkers were fun to work and hang out with, many became actual friends outside of work - Not hard to get hours - Always made sure to give proper breaks. 8 hour shift = two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute break. - More often than not could request off days you wanted off - The first General Manager I worked with was strict but clearly knew what he was doing and was well respected. Everyone was well-trained and responsible under his management. - No exclusion while I was there. Very diverse group of coworkers.
Cons
- The second General Manager I had to work with when the first GM left was lazy, misogynistic, and played favorites with male coworkers. His friend, our maintenance guy, was allowed to constantly flirt with younger female employees. The large amount of complaints we left basically forced upper management to come in and set things straight. - Plenty of guests who have absolutely no respect - Expect near-exhaustion and nearly no rest when the BIG movies are released (however, proper breaks were always sure to be given) - Minimum wage, very lackluster pay raises (about 10-25 cents a year)
