Pros

Pay is ok as well as the health benefits. You make more money IF and only you sell more catalog, gloves and such. Work only 4 days a week

Cons

Management always pushes on sales even after customers quit some product. Ethics are horrible if a customer goes outta business the managers push on pushing that invoice through to charge the customer on service they wont receive stating that oh thats or last weeks service when really thats the currents bill. A shirt may be 5 yrs old andd they want you to L/R the customer if they stop that employee.. Really if you kept a shirt for that long how would it look especially laundering once a week in heavy soil wash when the clothes are meant to be worn out cause hello we service the work industry. Also if a manager screws up they try to blame the ssr for it especially when a customer tries to quit they push the SSR to try to save the customer without lowering prices or if you try your hardest and you tell them they still want to quit, the manager does nothing and blames you for it. All they care is about your numbers never recognize hard work of the Skippers only scold them. Recently theyre trying to add lost business for your numbers so now customers that go out of business affects our numbers, what a cruel way to play with the SSR.

Pros

The Commission is great. You can make good money in this place.

Cons

While the pay is good, the culture here is not. It is incredibly restrictive. It is very much a “Do what I want you to do, how I want you to do it, and when I want you to do it” management style. They constantly remind you of how much money you can make there which gets annoying after a while. The service team and the sales team are constantly at odds. Not just Cintas, but the industry in general is very sleazy, much like a car dealership. They screw over their smaller customers with enormous year over year price increases. I know a particular salesperson who is having a lot of success their who has no problem lying to his customers, and never answering their calls when the problems come. As long as he keeps the deals coming Cintas does not care. Corporate greed is on full display at Cintas. The Management Development program for college graduates seems like a great opportunity. If you are a young college graduate and you get the opportunity, I would recommend that.
