Pros

Above average pay for the area Plenty of PTO & paid holidays ALWAYS busy Overtime available Company buys you boots every year The evening manager was awesome!! He’d work right beside you or he’d do the worst job all night so none of his team had to. Day in and day out he ALWAYS lead by example!

Cons

The 2 morning manager’s constantly pushing for more and micro managing everything you do. The one was constantly bickering with the employees. Mat rolling is a VERY physical tasking job but managers don’t seem to care or notice. No A/C or insulation in an all metal building. Summer it’ll be 85-90 outside & 95-105 inside with 80% humidity. In the winter it can be 20-30 outside & maybe 55-60 inside.

Pros

4 day work week and informed training

Cons

As an SSR, you're responsible for a lot; customer complaints, product shortages, bill discrepancies, customers that are in your face yelling/swearing. You are expected to give out your personal cell and email. With the average SSR having over 100 weekly clients, that's a lot of phone calls and emails, while you're already working a busy and physical job. They also claim you can make all these different bonuses. A lot of those bonuses are very small and capped. While I was there, I witnessed SSR's purposely overcharge clients on invoices just so that they could hit their numbers to attain a bonus. I did not enjoy having to have the same conversation over and over with clients that were overcharged.
