Pros

The training was impeccable, and never ending. The company really sucks you in and you start to believe what they are doing is for the good of the consumer.

Cons

Turn over was 100% in our office, no one stayed longer than a year without doing something that would seal their numbers and they couldn't be put on a probationary sales goal. Everyone was written up and put on probation for their number, even though in the bad economy they raised the number and hired reps, limiting the territories. Very cut throat, everyone out for himself, lots of fake, overly excited managers to pretend you believe the stuff coming out of their mouths. Just an overall unhealthy work enviroment.

Pros

Interview process was night and day compared to prior location I had interviewed with. Great benefits, solid support, and an awesome culture. Leadership leads by example, setting the tone from the top (GM). Can't speak for other location, but I was fortunate to land at one of the best. No micromanagement! Professionalism and integrity are a must. Constant promotions.

Cons

No real downsides except for the Florida heat, with only a bit of corporate politics but nothing too crazy.

Pros

The Commission is great. You can make good money in this place.

Cons

While the pay is good, the culture here is not. It is incredibly restrictive. It is very much a “Do what I want you to do, how I want you to do it, and when I want you to do it” management style. They constantly remind you of how much money you can make there which gets annoying after a while. The service team and the sales team are constantly at odds. Not just Cintas, but the industry in general is very sleazy, much like a car dealership. They screw over their smaller customers with enormous year over year price increases. I know a particular salesperson who is having a lot of success their who has no problem lying to his customers, and never answering their calls when the problems come. As long as he keeps the deals coming Cintas does not care. Corporate greed is on full display at Cintas. The Management Development program for college graduates seems like a great opportunity. If you are a young college graduate and you get the opportunity, I would recommend that.
