Pros

There are many good reasons I have stayed with CipherHealth the past years. The biggest reason is the people I work with not only within my team but within all the teams at CipherHealth. - The people I work with are some of the smartest, most interesting and humble people which is so refreshing. I have seen the most successful people within this organization stay humble and matter of fact over the past four years. Finally, we have a perk where most teams have at least one activity a month on CipherHealth which is amazing because it gives the teams an excuse to let their hair down and talk about things outside of work. - The product sold to the customers is the use case we can easily implement thanks to the Sales Team and Solutions Consultants that are part of the sales process. - Leadership cares, I have been with a few organizations and I can say this is the first time in my more than 20 years within healthcare that all senior leadership makes themselves readily available. CipherHealth not only says they have an open door policy they repeat this message and yell it at the top of their lungs to raise your hand if you need something. I personally have done this and was very impressed with the professionalism and kindness of our senior leadership and HR. - Promotes within / Adjust Professional tracks of internal employees, during the time I have been here I have continued to be challenged so that I can continue to grow professionally. I have also witnessed co-workers be promoted and be able to change tracks into other areas of business. The leadership within Customer Success Team provides praise and constructive improvements when need (normal there is a regular weekly touch base) AND two formal reviews where employees are encouraged to discuss what is working and where they want to grow. - CipherHealth provides training like bringing in specialist or going to training if suggestion or employee asks. - Discretionary PTO (Usually referenced as Unlimited PTO) - This can be a pro and a con. For most and myself it is a pro. This is an amazing benefit because it allows for work life balance. In all honestly with every holiday we get (like 17 days) I think I probably have used on average around 3 additional weeks on average throughout each year. Outside of the PTO, I feel that CipherHealth is very flexible with work hours and having appointments. - Great Salary aligns with industry standards - Finally empowerment, as I mentioned earlier leadership has an open-door policy which can be so empowering for those that have fresh ideas or past experience that might help departments and/or CipherHealth grow. I have found that leadership listens and provides feedback most times has the employees champion the cause.

Cons

There are many new Sales team members which seem to be still on-boarding.

Pros

Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) policy

Cons

Excessive Meetings & High Turnover The company schedules numerous meetings that disrupt workflow and don’t always add value. This, combined with high employee turnover, creates an unstable environment where projects are constantly in flux. Frequent Reorganizations Job title changes occur without proper notice, leading to confusion and uncertainty. These frequent shifts, coupled with quarterly layoffs, leave employees feeling insecure about their roles. Toxic Work Environment The culture has become increasingly toxic, with a focus on reprimands instead of constructive feedback. Many employees operate on edge, which negatively impacts morale and productivity. Inconsistent Treatment of Employees While performance reviews may include praises and there's no formal performance improvement plan in place, it is disheartening that good employees are still let go. This inconsistency contributes to a feeling of instability and unfairness. Lack of Bonuses The absence of bonuses stems from the company's unrealistic objectives, which often seem designed to avoid financial rewards for employees, creating frustration and disillusionment. No Clear Growth Strategy There is a noticeable absence of a coherent strategy for sustainable business growth. Constant cost-cutting measures and position eliminations appear to be attempts to artificially boost financials rather than fostering genuine progress. Deterioration of Workplace Culture Once considered a great place to work, CipherHealth now suffers from a declining atmosphere, contributing to employee dissatisfaction and increased turnover.
