Pros

Commission structure is a positive as they do offer one of the best around. I did enjoy my colleagues working on the same level. The other Account Executives made it tolerable to go to work everyday.

Cons

The work environment is very stressful. Upper management could treat employees with more respect. They put more of a focus on activity rather than the sales. If you do not exceed a certain # of calls you will be reprimanded and put on probation. Micro managed. They monitor everything you do. This forces employees to focus more on quanitity and not quality which overall isn't going to help any organization in the end. Isolation of those that are not meeting activity requirements and don't reward or acknowledge based on your sales performance. Embarrass you in meetings, roll their eyes, whisper behind your back, and disrepectful in use of words. Scare tactics are used to try and retain employees. Your first couple of years, you will work 55+ hours per week, make 100+ cold calls per day, and work 7:00 am - 6:00 pm M-F. Work and home balance does not allign. Be prepared to take work home with you. It's definitely a hunter role and you are fighting with 10 other account executives to try and get sales in an already saturated market. 100% cold calling and 100% prospecting on your own time. It's very rare somebody sticks around past month three. Turnover is not unusal.
