Private Equity Ownership - "When the monster stops growing, it dies. It can't stay one size." This is the fundamental flaw. Any strife you, the CEO, or management faces or will face is because of the majority white owners who seek to squeeze every last drop out of the good people who believe diverse teams will transform business. Businesses are supposed to grow - Gauge Capital wants this business to engorge - and there isn't enough to feed it. This means for the sales team - poor work-life balance as they turn the dial up on the treadmill while weighing you down with poor leads and activities that are not conducive to success in order to show metrics to the owners. If you're really lucky you'll get to speak to the private equity owners directly. "Office" cohesion suffered tremendously due to the pandemic. Nobody hit the goal. Some of the best sales people left while at the top of their game. Otherwise good sales people withered on the vine. The goals kept increasing for those who remained.
