Pros
Compensation is decent, people are alright to work with, free Thursday lunches are a plus, and benefits are also great. Appreciation can be seen at times with unscheduled check ins to see how you are doing. In the summer there are early Fridays so you get out 2 hours early.
Cons
The cons honestly are the unprofessionalism, the owner of the company will send out mass emails scolding employees for odd things and work activity. An example of a weird email from the owner would be a company wide email in regards to how the ice scoop was left in the ice machine and his thoughts in regards to such occurrences?? Very strange and childish, and these emails happen often enough. Daily reminders are sent out to the sales team in particular in regards to how many calls you're making and if you are not up to a certain level of activity you can expect daily visits from paranoid management and the VPs. Favoritism runs rampant which is the main way the company is able to keep employees long term. Also never expect to be able to get off work early or get in late without using PTO even if there are legitimate reasons for needing a half hour, expectations can then be working from 7:30 to 5 with having an "hour" break though you are highly pressured that in order to succeed in the company a break is strongly discouraged. Also the appreciation check ins listed above are done with the VPs so be prepared to say you are doing great otherwise there will be more watch on your work to make sure there is a "good fit" between you and the company.
