      Pros

      One of the best things about this job is getting to see how kind people in the community are to each other, the ways they are willing to help each other out when they are in need. In addition, it is very rarely boring, usually in a fun way.

      Cons

      I have been screamed and yelled at, threatened (several times), had to put out metaphorical fires between coworkers and an actual one outside the store at 1am, along with being robbed (SL: just from the register). This job is dangerous, you will in all likelihoood need to learn to deal with the homeless and the police (good for life experience though).

      The work environment is relaxed and low-stress, and the projects themselves are genuinely interesting and give you room to work on real, meaningful problems. Compensation is fair for the base role, and the day-to-day culture is easy to work within.

      Cons

      Growth opportunities within the company are limited, and it can be hard to see a clear path upward. Compensation, while fair, isn't very competitive compared to the market for similar data science roles, especially as skills develop. Projects are interesting but aren't closely tied to cutting-edge AI/ML work, so it's harder to build modern, in-demand technical skills here.
